Privacy policy

What we never store

• Your IP address, in any product.
• The domains or sites looked up through NetPulse DNS. There is no query log.
• Router passwords. The 24/7 helper keeps them on your own network.

What each part of NetPulse keeps

• Lag Check, Boost and the lag tools run in your browser. Results stay there unless you save them to Monitor or choose to share them. Wi-Fi room results are kept only in your browser.
• Business security checks (email, website, look-alike domains, exposure scan) keep nothing: the domain you enter, your address and the results exist only while the check runs. The port checker and exposure scan only ever connect back to the address you're visiting from.
• Shared results for the public provider pages are kept only if you opt in: speeds, lag, your provider's name and network number and a rough area, never your address.
• NetPulse DNS keeps counts per profile, day and category (how many lookups, how many blocked), per device name you give, and which kind of big download service was seen per hour (for example "Steam"), for 30 days. Your rules, schedules and game mode settings are stored so they can be applied.
• Monitor keeps the speed and lag measurements your helper or browser sends, with your provider's name and network number from our hosting edge.
• Accounts and billing: the email from checkout (for receipts, alerts and the weekly report you turn on), the names you give profiles, devices and people, and your plan.

Cookies

We use only the cookies that sign you in to a profile or account you created. No advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking across sites.

Some links to gear (for example on Amazon or GL.iNet) may be affiliate links. They are plain links: NetPulse loads no retailer scripts and sets no cookie for them. The retailer, or Lemon Squeezy for our own affiliate program, may set its own cookies on its site once you follow a link.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare hosts NetPulse, runs the speed test servers and relays the packet-loss test.
• Lemon Squeezy takes payments as merchant of record and has its own privacy policy.
• Resend sends alert, receipt and weekly report emails when you turn them on.

We don't sell or rent data to anyone.

Your choices

You can remove helpers, and profiles in an account, from their console at any time, which deletes their stored data. To get a copy of your data or to have a profile or account deleted, email our contact page. If you live in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
